Materials in the Columbia River Treaty Digital Library may be protected under copyright laws. These materials have been made available for purposes of research, private study, education or other activity exempted as fair dealing under the Copyright Act but may not be used for any commercial purpose. Columbia Basin Trust has permission from rights holders of items not in the public domain to digitize and provide access to those items for the foregoing purposes only. Distribution of copies or copying for purposes other than those purposes requires the explicit permission of the copyright owners. Users are responsible for obtaining such permission and paying any necessary fees. Columbia Basin Trust will not be held responsible for any damages arising out of use of materials on this website.
